Review:The Lost Curse by T. Lynn Adams

5 STARS This was good adventure story. I knew some of the history but learned a lot that I had no idea about about what happened in my state years ago. This is second book with a couple of the same people as first book. I did not read it but now I plan to. Severino is from Peru and is flying into Utah to visit Jonathon and his family. Severino I guess saved Jonathon life twice when he was in Peru. Severino was part of terrosist group trying to find the guy that killed his father Both boys are in thier teens. Jonathon wants to take him camping around Hell Hole canyon by Kanosh, UT. where his grandma and good friend Tallie live. Tallie is a year older than Jonathon. She is Paiute Indian. Her father disappeared when she was only 8 years old. She is a waitress and plans to spend time with the boys when she is off work. On Severino plane was also a older gentleman who wore expensive suit with a butterfly ring. He was doing business the whole flight his name is Cole. Also on the plane a few rows behind Severino and Cole was Ryan he was spying on Cole with his phone. Ryan hates Cole and has plans to take his revenge on him. Both Cole and Ryan want to find the gold mines down by Kanosh that the Spanish explores had found and used Paiute Indians as slaves to mine and killed a lot of Paiute Indians. Ryan actually found a spanish turtle rock that was marking the way to the treasure. Severino and Jonathon while camping actually found some spanish artifacts and knew not to take them anywhere. So they took picture with cell phone and buried them but marked the spot and sent pictures to Jonathon dad for him to see and tell them what it is. His dad showed the picture of spanish mine stamp to others. Both Cole & Ryan group knew right away that the boys had found Spanish artifacts that might lead the way to the mines. The book keeps you involved in the story waiting to see what happens next. Thier is nothing you have to worry about your children reading this book. No sex, no swearing. I really enjoyed it and did not want it to end. I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley. 07/10/2012 PUB Cedar Fort
