My Review:Garage Sale Diamonds by Suzi Weinert

I learned a lot in this complicated mystery. In fact I really liked the joggers answers about Abraham and his connection to three religions. Also learned about what people look for in diamonds. I liked the characters some more than others. Lots of drama and action happening in the book. I also liked some of the life lessons and treats Jennifer did with her grandchildren when they come to stay.(Now if I can remember by the time I have grandchildren it would be fun to do)

The plot had lots of parts coming together. Deals with terrorists who are planning attack in McLean, VA. The cell leader was smuggled in with diamonds. He sees a doll in closet and hides the diamonds in the doll. The doll is sold at a garage sale to Jennifer. The terrorists need the diamonds to buy guns and bombs for their mission. Their was so much going on it was almost too much at times. I never got lost in the story and connected with the characters fully.

It is a very fast paced book. Most of it happens in VA the Thanks Giving week. Happens in neighborhoods.

I love garage sales, thrift stores and shopping on black Friday. I am glad I never had Jennifer's luck.
I would like to read the first book in the series. Would read more books by Suzi.
