Meanwhile, the man she does want, handsome Detective Aston Ridder, is making her life hell as he closes in on the Serial Catcher’s trail.

Sapphire scrambles to keep the chaos at bay, unaware that someone else is tracking her as well. A serial killer from her past is back and will stop at nothing to get his vengeance.

My Review: Silencing Sapphire by Mia Thompson

4 stars

This is a thriller mystery. The characters are not to deep except for Sapphire. I found myself rooting for Sapphire. Also wondered why the cops were putting so much effort in catching the serial catcher over stopping serial killers themselves.
There are a lot of swear words and gritty scenes.
Sapphire is a rich social lite who is engaged to a even richer guy who she does not like let alone want to marry. For years she has spent most of her time stopping serial killers. She likes detective Aston Ridder.

Detective Aston Ridder's main goal is to catch the serial catcher. He does not realize the woman he can't forget is actually the person he seeks.

This is book two of the series. I have not read the first one. The story does not end with this book. I want to read the next book now and not wait for it.

Sapphire goes undercover to become what the serial killer wants and right now he is hunting strippers in one club. So Sapphire while getting ready to walk down the isle is being the worst stripper in the club.

The plot has a few different story lines in it. Which make it interesting and when you think it is settled more stuff happens.

I was given this ebook to read for purpose of giving a honest review of it by Netgalley.
