Dr. Dark and Far-Too Delicious by Carol Marinelli

Description

Too much temptation…

Jasmine Phillips is proving that there is life after divorce, and it's busy! There simply isn't room in the E.R. nurse and single mum's day for an attraction to Dr Jed Devlin.

Jasmine has rebuilt her heart as well as her life, but can she risk it crumbling again in the hands of this oh-so-delicious doc? Living in the same town, working at the same hospital, she's finding the temptation harder to resist….

My Review: Dr. Dark and Far-Too Delicious by Carol Marinelli

4 STARS

I really liked how all the relationships interacted and grew as the story unfolded. Lots of strong women characters. Jasmine has moved back home and got a job working in the same E.R, as her sister is a Dr. at. Penny does not want her sister working in the same department. So Jasmine promises she won't let anyone know they are sisters. Her mom looks down on her being just a nurse and only agrees to babysit for the first few weeks.

Most of the book takes place in E.R. or her house in Peninsula AU. The medical part of the story was really interesting too. Loved the drama, at the hospital. The scenes worked for me.

The week part of the book was how Jed and Jasmine have both good reasons not to get involved with anyone but they just fall in bed together and keep their relationship secret. Mainly sex. Did not have much to relationship outside of hospital.

I guessed some of the elements pretty early about where the story was going, but it was enjoyable how it got there.

I admit to skipping over the sex scenes.

I like Jasmine's one year old he is cute. I think getting the part of single mother having to work and worry about daycare especially nights and evenings was done very well also.

I was given this ebook to read for purpose of giving a honest review by Netgalley and Harlequin.
