My Review: The Surprise Holiday Dad

The Surprise Dad is a charming romance book. It is a Safe Harbor medical novel.
The plot Wade Hunter gets a letter telling him the mother of his son died months ago. He heads to his hometown determined to be a father. Dr. Adrienne Cavill goes to adopt her nephew and finds out the dead beat dad was not really a dead beat dad and he won't give up his son.
One thing I liked is how they both tried to work things out best for the boy. They were not putting Reggie in the middle and making life tough for him.
One tough subject that they till with problems with mental health issues and alcoholics and problems they can cause.
Wade stops by to meet his son for first time and finds him having a birthday party. Reggie is cute and wants a father in his life.
He also wants his Aunt too.
Quick enjoyable read. Lots of characters from previous books you see. This is the first of the series and I did not feel lost in it.
