My Review: Single Dad Cowboy by Brenda Minton (Cooper Creek, #8)

4 STARS

I have liked this series. I believe this is the last book of it. Harmony and Dylan are both going through tough periods in their lives, they decide to help each other out. This is full of loving characters, tough trials, and choices they make.

Harmony Cross is staying at her family ranch house. She was in a bad wreck a year ago that left her with some health problems and addiction to pain killers. She is trying to stay clean and get stronger. Her friend died in that wreck and she stills feels guilty about it.

Dylan Cooper his good friend died and left him her kids to raise. Callie 4 and Cash 2. He can't believe he is a single father. He is worried he won't be good enough for them. After a year he has moved back home by his family. He does not want to be set up on blind dates.

Dylan and Harmony live next door right now and agree to help each other out. Maybe that will stop everyone trying to set them up for awhile.

I like how everyone is reaching out to try and help each other. Harmony gets the idea to buy a horse that is not getting enough feed. She thinks she can take care of the horse and help the ranch couple at the same time. Harmony starts out by keep helping where she can.

This deals with a lot of hard issues with compassion and makes the characters believable and real. It is a good story. The kids are so cute and are so needy of love. They give their love too.

Harmony is afraid that she will bring harm to Callie and Cash. She has not forgiven herself for her part in her friend's death.

This is a emotional book for me. It touched me in many ways. It is a clean read.

I was given this ebook to read for purpose of giving a honest review by Netgalley and Harlequin.
