About the author:
George Anthon Kibbie is a science fiction and fantasy writer. Known to friends and family as “Tony,” he grew up watching science fiction movies and reading voraciously, often staying up all night reading an entire novel. After each movie or book, he would dream about how to make it better. Eventually he stopped dreaming and began to write.  Current published novels include “Justice,” “Strength of Blood” and “Dawn of Creation.” Other work include being a columnist for Professional Safety, the trade journal for the American Society of Safety Engineers and a technical writer for the construction industry.  My review: Bilwok: Dawn of the Trolls by George Anthon Kibbie

This was a compelling story.  I was not sure where it was going and I found myself not wanting to put down the book.  I hope there is going to be another story and soon.

The setting is in the future and man is no more the dominate race.  This community of Trolls are called Tennevollen and is hidden from man.

Bilwok belongs to a gang of troll boys that like to challenge themselves with daring stunts and keep getting in trouble, do poorly in school.  One day he decides to change doing well in school, studying the law.

Wardoll is leader of the Geyser Club.  He likes thinking of stunts for the gang and daring the others to follow him.  His best friend is Bilwok until he starts to change. Then he turns against him.

Bilwok is bringing change the seer says wither it be good or bad.  It is coming.  His father is the Chief of Police and head enforcer.  His Grandfather on his mother's side is Chief Elder.

I found myself rooting against the humans.  I was on the side of the Trolls.

This is a coming of age story, science fiction, plenty of drama.  It is a clean read that anybody can enjoy and learn from. About choices what you want to be a trouble maker or someone who stands up for others.
