You can’t tiptoe when murder’s afoot…
It’s Bastille Day in Paris. The Happy Hoofers—Tina, Janice, Pat, Mary Louise, and Gini—are all set to kick off the fete by dancing the cancan on a beautiful sightseeing cruise down the Seine. As the leggy ladies soak in the magic of the city of lights, everything is magnifique…until a very important patron goes belly-up on the top deck.
On the heels of their French debut, murder takes center stage. The five daring dancers will need to step lively to stop the crafty killer fast…or their grand finale will turn out far more explosive than the fireworks over the Eiffel Tower…

My review:  Cancans, Croissants and Caskets by Mary McHugh

4 STARS

This is the third book of the series.  The ladies are in Paris to dance on a boat that cruises down the Seine on Bastille Day.  During one of their cruises a murder takes place.

This book the main character is Janice Rogers. Janice is a beautiful actress she is divorced single mother.  Two different men date her while in Pairis.  Each book features a different dancer of the Happy Hoofers.

Cancans, Croissants and Caskets does a good job of standing alone.  You want feel lost if this is the only book of the series that you read.

The Happy Hoofers do a lot of site seeing around Paris.  You can feel how much they love Paris.  Makes me want to go too.  It gives you great ideas where to visit and what to do if you are planning to go.

The mystery to me was easy to figure out who the murder was.  There is a couple of other mysteries in  the book too.

The book has Fashion Tips and recipes throughout  the story.  During there last chapter there are some travel tips there.

This is a fast cozy murder and a clean read. It is entertaining .  I will read more books from Mary McHugh in the future.

I was given this book to read by Net Galley and Kenisington Books. In return I agreed to give a honest review and be part of it's blog tour.
