Synopsis
Sorting through the estate of a wealthy recluse may sound like a fascinating task, but when the skeletons in the closets turn out to be real, Martha and her quilting pals wish they’d stuck to basting and batting. . .
Martha Rose is stunned when she hears that her best friend from high school has passed away. Her shock doubles when she learns that Harriet Oliver made her the executor of her estate. But when investigators determine that Harriet was murdered, Martha recruits her fellow quilters to help find the culprit. She’s mastered the art of piecing together blocks to create intricate quilts, but piecing together her friend’s murder will prove far more challenging. . .

My review: Gone But Knot Forgotten by Mary Marks
4 STARS
This is book three of the series. I really enjoy Martha and the regular cast of characters in this series.
Martha is a middle age woman who is divorced. She is Jewish. A good friend, quilts every Tues with two friends, Lucy and Birdie. She is dating a biker.
There are some twists in this story that I found interesting One of the last twists makes me want to see what happens next.
Martha gets a phone call from a lawyer a old friend, Harriet Oliver has died and put her down as executor of her estate. She was found in her closet dead for ten months. She was murdered.
Martha wants to know who has searched the house, who murdered her friend. Her friends Lucy and Birdie help her to check out the house and get involved with the mysteries.
There is lots of drama, crimes, twists, romance and quilting. I like how Martha gets involved trying to figure out what happens. I was interested in seeing what Harriet was collecting and surprised about how much things were worth.
I found it interesting to learn a little bit about Jewish burial customs.
Crusher and gang help with security around Harriet's house. Crusher really cares about Martha.
The setting was LA area.
I enjoyed reading Gone but Knot Forgotten. I am looking for the next book in this series.
I was given this ebook by Net Galley and Kensington and in return I agreed to give a honest review and be part of Gone but Know Forgotten blog tour.
