Thier is a knock on the door and his brothers fiance Francine and his old girl friend comes in and tells Simon that she is his christmas gift and starts taking off her clothes. Simon tries to tell her to leave and when she barges into the bedroom and finds Caroline she is upset. Simon introduces Caroline as his fiance that has not told his parents yet of.
After  Francine leaves Simon offers to pay what she owes on her law school and pay the last semester tution if she will come to his parents home in Savannah with him.  The last time they fought over Francine the brothers did not speak for 3 years and his mom just finshed cancer treatments.

Priscilla the Great:The Time Traveling Bullet by Sybil Nelson

5 STARS

This is the sixth Priscilla book I have read and have
enjoyed all of them. I was excited to read this one
when I knew it was coming out May 1.  So I was really
glad to read it early. In fact I read the day I recieved
it.
At the ending Bring on the Pain Priscilla was shot and
then she disappeared.
This one she wakes up naked, confused with a bullet hole
still bleeding.  She heard music that her brother was always
playing she followed to wear a bag was hidden in a tree
with clothes in her size.
Priscilla realized she was only a few blocks from home.
When she tried the door it was locked for once.  She
knocked and a strange girl about her age answered and was
wearing her shirt.
They did not get along especially when they had the same
name. Her mom came and after a few minutes realized it
was her best friend 25 years older Tai and she was married
to her brother Josh.
Thier are a lot of different things she has to get used too.
Priscilla even goes to school with her niece Priscilla and
runs into Xi.  Xi has the gun and she wants back to change
the past. Priscilla tells her her mom Tai has the only bullet.
So only 1 can go back but they need to work together. But
noone trusts each other.
Thier is a lot of action, drama and some humor as the future
and past change. Now I have to wait again for the next book.
This is a fun book that all ages can read and enjoy.
I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest
review from Netgalley.

Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch by Nancy Atherton

4 Stars
I remember reading some stories about Aunt Dimity and Lori awhile ago.  I would love to reread them all.
This is a detective story and a treasure hunt from the past. No one was murdered but I got involved in the hunt and could not wait to see how it all ended.
The town of Finch in England's West Midlands like to gossip about each other and spy on one another.  So when someone new was moving in everyone watched to see what the new comer wore and what she was moving into her cottage.
The tearoom had big windows and had a good view of the cottage that Mrs. Amelia Thistle was the new widow who bought the cottage. The tearoom was full of villagers waiting to get their look when she pulled up in front of her cottage.
Lori was sharing her table with Charles Bellingham and Grant Tavistock. After seeing Mrs Amelia Thistle arrive Charles and Grant hurried out to their own house without waiting to see what was moved into the cottage. Lori followed them and they told her that was not her real name. That she was a famous painter and had a following of crackpots who developed a religion around her art.  She could not go anywhere without bodyguards they even bought property in her gated estate to camp out to stalk her.
Lori the next day went to welcome her with a box of cookies and a breakfast casserole.  She was welcomed by a hungry, confused lady. Who took her into the kitchen saying she was starved. Had not found her dishes and the stores where closed last night before she got food.  Lori fixed her tea while she ate and help clean up front room. Then she asked if she was really May the famous painter.
May was disapointed that someone saw through her and recongized her from the first day.
May explained that she moved to town to finsh her late brothers work of find a secret manuscript that was discovered the first page in one of the cottages years ago written in latin from the 1700's. Her brother translated the first page and the author was the preacher of Finch at that time.  Thier was a drawing that was a clue to the next page of a manuscript.
Lori said tomorrow she would help her find out more and keep her identy a secret.  Other neighbors were coming to welcome her and Lori suggested that she have them shop and unpack for her and get settled in for today.
Lori has a relative from the past leave her home and money but also a journal that a ghost of Aunt Dimity lived in and wrote her part of conversations in. Aunt Dimity recongized the drawing and sugested that they look at the painting in the old church tomorrow for the next clue.
The story is engaging as more and more of the town get involved in the search for the missing pages and they learn what happened to the witch at that time when witch trials were going on in the 1600's.
May's crazy followers show up in town and try to find where she lives now.
Its a fun hunt to find the truth about the rest of story. I will read more from Nancy in the future.

Review: The Prophet by Amanda Stevens

3 STARS
This is the third book in the series. I have read the second and now this one.
Parts of the story I got lost in and understand it all. Which could be because I did not read the first one.
Amelia Gray restores cematarys and sees ghosts. She has pretended not to let them know she can see them or react to them. Her father warned her to never react to them.  But the first book she did something that changed the rules on her.
She fell for Devlin in first book but all of the ghosts around him draineed her. His dead wife, hated her with a passion and actualy pushed her down.  His dead little girl wanted Amelia to help her some how and would hold her hand. Another ghost wanted her to find his killer so he could move on.
Devlin does not belive in ghosts. He really misses his daughter.
Their are talk about different powers like voodue & rootwork things I don't understand.
Even though Amelia talks about her love of Devlin thier is not  much business of them even being together.

Sunrise Point by Robyn Carr

5 STARS
I like her books.  Sunrise Point does not disappoint at all.
Nora is a single mother with a baby and a two year old.  Her boyfriend abandoned her and took most of the furniture even the fridge and left her in small abounded house. It was winter and she had a 2 week baby at a time.
The town when they found out all pulled together to help her.  Nora had 2 part time jobs but when she heard their were jobs at a apple farm for pickers. Nora almost did not get hired because Tom was attracted to her and thought she was two small. Maxi Tom's grandmother though hired her.
She walked 31/2 miles to the farm and after picking all day walked back to the town. But she was happy to be able to support her children better.
Tom had been away from the apple farm for 10 years, 4 years of school and 6 years as a marine. He was home to stay at  the apple farm. His grandparents raised him. Tom was ready to get married but he did not want
one with baggage.
Maxi had one son and raised her grandson. Her husband has been dead for ten years. She is in her 70s and still picks apples, cleans and cooks. Very active life.
Their is drama, community, humor, reunion with father. I hated to put the book down last night.
