My Review: Discovering Peace by Jennifer Ann Holt
4 stars
I like the title it fits the book. Discovering Peace follows where Delivering Hope ends. I did not feel the sadness in this book, it brought forth more smiles than anything. Their are new characters in this book but a lot of the olds ones are back.
Ally is trying to move on with her life after giving up Hope. It is hard but she is working on it. She has decided to go to BYU the following spring.
Olivia is loving being a mother but finds it harder than she thought. They are excited when they are able to seal Hope to them. They invite Ally and her parents to come.
They both have issues to deal with. They are becoming more friendly. Olivia sends pictures about once a month.
Ally is finding it hard to trust a guy she does not want to get hurt again. Most of the story is her going to school, dating and risking telling of her past.
Hope is a cute little baby.
I kept wanting to see how life is going for Shanelle. I loved how Olivia and Michael went out of their way for her. Especially for Olivia. Good example.
I have loved reading Discovering Peace. Even though they have trials things are looking up for everyone.
I feel the emotions of the characters ring true. That these two books deal with the heart ache of adoption, infertility, forgiveness, was handled really well.
I would love to read more books by Jennifer Ann Holt in the future. Discovering Peace is full of drama, highs and lows of adoption, dating, and is a clean romance on top of it.
I was given Discovering Peace to read so I could give my honest review of it and be part of its book tour.
