My review: The Rebel and the Heiress by Michelle Douglas (The Wild Ones #2)

4 STARS

This story is perfect if you want a fast charming romantic story. The characters have nice ones that you want everything to work out for them. Ones who are really flawed that you don't like and when they are defeated you want to shout yeah. It is a clean read.

The plot is rebel who got out of jail recently is asked to go over to rich heiress house when he can. Nell has fallen on hard time. She has a plan to handle the problems. Nell has been given a letter to give to Rick that brings a mystery and treasure hunt for them.

Nell has given her father almost everything she had. Now he wants her house to. Nell is selling cupcakes as a career. She feels guilty she obeyed her parents when she was young. She cares about people.

Rick spent 15 months in jail while he was innocent. Now it is hard for him to trust and expects the worst. He has just been told who is father was and he might have a brother or sister if he cares to find out.

I want a cupcake like Nell makes. They sound great.

I would read more stories like this. I look forward to reading more books by Michelle Douglas.

I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Harlequin
