My review: Hold Your Breath by Katie Ruggle (Search and Rescue #1)

I rated this five stars because it has a good balance of humor, mystery. suspense and romance.  I stayed up late to read because I wanted more and did not want the book to be over.  I have already ordered the novella and look forward to reading more books in the series.

Louise "Lou" Sparks, is a brand new at diving search and rescue team.  Lou is from back east and has made a big change of lifestyle.  She is sarcastic, caring and independent.  She is single.  Works in a coffee shop.

Callum Cook is Captain of Field County dive rescue. He is always serious.  Likes to be in control.  Does not know what to think about Lou.

Lou while  practicing her first ice diving rescue kicks something and turns out to be a dead body.  She feels responsible so she wants to find out who he was.  She also finds out she has a stalker.  Callum is not going to let her be by herself until she is safe.

I really did not think about all the different training search and rescue has to do.  I can see how important it is to have cold water rescue experience.  Thank you to all who do such good important work.
