Description
From bestselling author Lori Copeland (more than 3 million books in print) comes the inspiring sequel to Sisters of Mercy Flats.
The
three wily and beautiful McDougal sisters can swindle a man faster than
it takes to lasso a calf. But their luck is running out, and they’re
about to be hauled off to jail. When the wagon carrying them falls under
attack, each sister is picked up by a different man.
Anne-Marie,
the middle sister, is saved by Creed Walker, a Crow warrior. It’s
loathing at first sight, but with bandits on their tail and a cache of
gold to hide, Creed and Anne-Marie need each other. Will they learn to
put aside their differences and trust each other—and God? And can their
growing faith turn their lives around?

My review: My Heart Stood Still by Lori Copeland (Sisters of Mercy Flats#2)
4 STARS
I enjoyed this book and want to read the other two books of this series. This is the second book of Sisters of Mercy Flats. It is a clean Christian , romance, western, and historical all in one.
Anne-Marie is the middle sister of three orphans that never plan to marry. They were raised in an orphanage in Texas. The three sisters con money from rich people and give to the sisters. They have been lucky up till now.
They were in the back of a prison wagon being chased by Comanches dressed as Nuns. Each sister was taken off by three different men riding off in three different directions.
Ann-Marie was on a horse riding double with a Indian rescuer. Who did not speak English. She is cold and worried about her sisters if they got away or not.
Creed Walker is a Crow warrior. He has a lot of secrets. He plans to drop her off at nearest town. He is surprised when he finds out she is not a Nun.
The setting is the last year of the Civil War in the West.
There is so much danger, action, gold, chases with horses. You never know what will happen next. As they try and finish their goals. It is a good fun clean story.
I would read more books from Lori Copeland in the future.
I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Harvest House Publishers.
In return I agreed to give a honest review of My Heart Stood Still.
