My review: Ring on Her Finger by Lisa Swinton
I liked ring on her Finger. I liked certain characters over others. I really liked Blake the groom. Amanda's family the best.
This was fun to read. I loved how well the fundraiser went and wished their was a little more of that.
Amanda St. Claire woke up in a hotel room with a hangover. She was not alone in bed. Blake Worthington was asleep. She was wearing a wedding ring and there was a tiara along with a wedding dress. She just graduated from college. She plans to spend the summer at home and then go to Africa to teach how to help babies being born to live.
Blake Worthington's family was rich. He knew what he was doing the night before when they were planning the wedding. Amanda wants to end the marriage. When he tells his family what happened in Vegas he was kicked out until he took care of it. Means paying for the divorce. Blake shows up at Amanda's with only the cash in his pocket.
My thought process was why not sell the jewelry to pay for legal fees. There would not be a story then.
Blake was wrong to marry Amanda when she was not sober. He was trying to make up for that. He was working hard to win her. He sure got injured a lot. Amanda was very set in her ways.
I liked how the St. Claire's welcomed him into their home. They cared about Blake fast. Just was a good example.
I really liked the ending of the story.
This is a clean romance story.
I was given this ebook to read so I could give an honest review of Ring on her Finger.
