My Review:Forever Amish by Kate Lloyd (Legacy of Lancaster #3)
4 STARS
I have enjoyed reading Legacy of Lancaster series. Forever Amish does not disappoint. It is full of secrets, drama, romance and Amish life style. I love the characters and would like to see more of them in the future.
I think it would be tough to live Amish after living English world. I would miss car, electricity, internet and sometimes phone.
Sally Bingham has always wanted to visit the Amish. Her father and fiancé don't ever want to go. So after fight she decides to go in response to email invitation she received from Lizzy Zook. Her father really is not happy about her going. Her stay in the bed and breakfast is cancelled and she is invited to stay in a real Amish house.
Armin is living and working for the Amish farm instead of in his brother's empty house. He has not been baptized yet. He lived English lifestyle for years. Armin likes Sally.
The Zook family sometimes rents room to people who need a place to stay but won't take any money from Sally. They really want her to stay at least most of the family does. While Sally is arguing with her father on the phone Rhoda Zook asks to speak and reassures her father that they will take care of her but Sally's father hangs up on her.
Ed Bingham is really sick. He is a used cars salesman. He has raised Sally on his own. He won't talk to her about her mother at all and has other secrets he has been keeping.
Most of the book takes place in Lancaster county. In Amish community.
Lizzy Zook who emailed Sally and wanted to know more about her purebred dogs. Asks her to come because she needs her help. After Sally is their won't tell her why she wanted to come. Plus she is sneaking out at night.
I would read more books from Kate Lloyd in the future. I have read all three books in Legacy of Lancaster series. They have characters that I care about and are a clean read.
I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and in return asked to give honest review of it.
