Living on her own for her first time, Bible school student Jane cleans houses to make ends meet. But being independent brings big trials, like falling for a handsome professor, dealing with an obnoxious roommate, and then there's the dead bodies...
Who knew being housekeeper to wealthy owners of a Roly Burger franchise would mean sweeping up clues to their death, while ministering to the needs of their heirs?
This is one big mess that Jane is intent on cleaning up before things get even worse.

My Review:Good, Clean, Murder (The Plain Jane Mysteries #1) by Traci Tyne Hilton
4 STARS
I tried this series because it was free on Amazon. I really liked it. The characters I liked. The plot was good. Clean read. Had some faith and lots of prayer.
Jane the main character is in her last semester of school. She cleans houses to pay her way. She lives in a tiny apartment with a roommate who is not so nice. She wants to go on a mission out of the country so she has been going to a little church school.
While she is cleaning one of her clients house she finds Bob still in bed and she can't find a pulse so she calls 911. She needs one more class to graduate but the class she signed up for was cancelled. The new one has a young teacher. Who is flirting with her.
For a while everything goes wrong for Jane.
Jane wants to help Bob's grieving family. She went to school with his kids. She is also suspicious about the deaths and wants to find out who might want them dead.
I want to read more Plain Jane Mysteries in the future. It was a cute story. I want to find out what happens next to Jane.
