Can she save her young friend, who has been kidnapped to the mountains of southern Austria? Can she determine the identity and motives of the mysterious Red Claw? Can she see the real painting that is hidden beneath the false one?

My review: Frame Change by by T’Gracie and Joe Reese

4 STARS

This is book 5 of Nina Bannister Mystery and the only one I have read. I feel that it can stand alone really well. I would like to read the other 4 books now. I was happy about how it all came together and surprised me. The suspense was good. I enjoyed the plot.
That everyone started to think because her paintings were selling that she must be a good artist. So they jumped on the band wagon.

Nina Bannister is learning to paint. She is a retired school teacher and Principal. Her friend Carol has become close to her. Nina has a lot of friends.

Carol was a teacher than worked for The Chicago Art Museum and now she has turned to smuggling art to help her sick father. Carol feels really close to Nina. They are having fun dreaming up a trip to Europe.

You are drawn into Carol and Nina's lives and you want to see them solve their problems and see how far Nina's paintings will go.

You can see how easy it is when you need money to start making wrong choices and then you get deeper and deeper into trouble.

There is a rich man who is buying stolen art and having it smuggled to one of his homes. There is a mystery person or group that is trying to find the stolen paintings from the Jews by Germans in WWII and steal it back to return to rightful owners. The couriers are disappearing.

The setting for most of the book happens in Bay St. Lucy, Mississippi

I like the sense of humor in the book too. I laughed a few times.

I was given this ebook to read so I could give a honest review and be apart of Frame Change blog tour.
