MY REVIEW: Secrets that Kill

4 STARS

This 4th book in A Shelby Nichols is a little different than the other books in the series. It takes place in Florida. Without all the regular characters playing much of a roll except for Shelby and Ramos. We learn a lot more about Ramos's history and family.

It still has danger, drama, humor, violence, good guys and bad guys with some of the bad guys that I really like. It is also a clean read with a touch of paranormal.

Shelby and her family went to Disney World for a family vacation. On the last day she was going to deliver a letter for Uncle Joey by herself while her family went to airport. When everything went wrong.

Shelby can read minds since she was shot in the head during a robbery. She is tangled with the mob boss Uncle Joey, she also helps the police when she can.

I like the characters in this series. Shelby is a happy stay at home mother or two, her husband Chris is a lawyer. Ramos is right hand of local mob boss Uncle Joey.

Now I have to wait for the next book in the series. I will continue to read Colleen Helme novels.
