Twisted by KayCee R Review and Giveaway $25 Amazon gift code or Paypal cash

Twisted

Cayden Rivers wants nothing more than to be normal, but we don’t always get what we want. For years he has been hiding a secret, afraid of being labeled a “freak”. Every day he goes to school, plays football, spends time with his girlfriend, and helps carry his drunken adopted father to bed. Nobody knows the truth about his unnatural speed and strength, including his life-long friend Camilla.
Suddenly, four strangers enter Cayden’s life, and not only do they know his secret, they also have one of their own. With their help, Cayden discovers there is more to his power, something much more dangerous. Something other people will kill to possess.
Camilla wishes her parents were around more. She gets lonely sleeping in her big empty house night after night. Sure, she has all the money she could ever need, but the only person who is there for her is Cayden. He has his own family and a girlfriend who takes up most of his time, so Camilla knows he won’t be there for her forever, and recently he’s been acting really strange.
Will Cayden be able to keep his secret and his friendship with Camilla, or will his new found power destroy everything, including his own life?
Switching between Cayden and Camilla’s point of view, Twisted will leave you aching for more.

My Review: Twisted
4 stars

I liked twisted. There are quite a few surprising twists to the book and others that I guessed where it was heading.
This is aimed at YA. Most of the characters are teenagers. The only parents we hear about are very disappointed ones. I wanted to shake and yell at them. I got involved in the book. This is a clean read. Their is way too much underage drinking going on.

Cayden is adopted. His sister Kylie is just months younger than him and is adopted too. Their adopted mom could not take her husband drinking so she left them with him. He is always drunk. Cayden finds that he has special gifts he is faster and stronger than normal. He is pretty good at hiding his talents. His sister does not even know.

Camilla is Cayden's best friend forever. Her parents are always traveling. She is lucky to see them at all. Dana Cayden's girlfriend is jealous of Cam. Camilla is tired of being alone all the time.

I can't wait to read the second book. I have lots of questions about some of the other characters in the story. How are they making their money. We really don't see much of Cayden's sister Kylie she is always with others.

Lots of drama, some action, some mystery, lot of relationships and special powers. It is entertaining to read and did not want to say goodbye to the characters yet.

I was given this ebook to read. The opinions are all mine.
