Hiding The Truth
Coming home might be the worst decision Carly Baron has ever made. Each minute on her family's busy ranch is one minute closer to seeing him—her first love—the man who broke her heart seven years ago. While coming face-to-face with Luke Nobel again brings back painful memories, Carly quickly realizes there are other strong feelings just under the surface….
Luke would be a lot better off if Carly had stayed away. Being a single dad to an adorable two-year-old girl and managing the Roughneck is tough enough, but resisting the sparks that fly whenever he and Carly are together is near impossible. But first she must tell him her secret. The truth could heal their past…or forever destroy their chances of becoming a family.

My review: The Texan's Little Secret by Barbara White Daille (Texan Rodeo Barons #2)
3 STARS
Good story, likeable characters, a mystery that ties the stories together besides them being a family. Does have a couple of love scenes that I skipped over.
Carly Baron has come home to help take care of her father recover from his injury from a riding a bull. Carly has secrets. She is going to quit riding barrels in rodeos. Threatens to start riding bulls next. Her ex-boyfriend is now the manager of Roughneck.
Luke Nobel is a widower with a little girl named Rosie. He is also a former rodeo champion bull rider. He is still attracted to Carly. He knows it is best to make peace with the owner's daughter.
Brock Baron has been married three times. He has a lot of children. He had a accident riding a bull in senior rodeo. He is in a wheel chair with broken leg. He owns a ranch and oil company. He wants Carly back home working for him. Brock's first wife left him and his four children.
Carly and her sister are trying to find their mother. They have not heard from her since she was five. Carly has lots of questions.
The setting is a Texas ranch.
This is a series with different writer each month writing the different stories.
I was given this ebook to read for the purpose of writing a honest review of it. Net Galley and Harlequin gave it to me.
