Well I now have read the first 4 books in the Moonstone series I have learned their is a 5 and that will be the end.  Hope it comes out soon can't wait to read it.
The story lines keep your attention and I did not want to stop reading the book.
Allie has found out she is a twin and sets out to find her twin.  She has been told to find the girl and save the world by summer solist.
A fae is showing up and only Allie and her father can see him. 
Junior is back for the holidays.
Thier is a weird preacher that is riling everyone against the supernatural world even though he is a dark fae.  He threatens Allie and her family.  Also on the preachers side is Carmen and a rich person backing him. They also have a singer and using her Sammy. Sammy and Allie have a connection too.
This series has been fun to read. The books don't have seens you want to skip over because of content. They have good characters and bad characters and some where bad but have changed for the better.  Friends that stick by and help each other through tough times.

This is the third book of the series Moonstones.  So far its not been my favorite book. Still enjoyed it.
In this book Allie has Junior coming for visits. Breck coming back on visits from collage and a third guy Ryker shows up.
Does not deal with school. Allie has a summer job working for her Uncle at the fruit stand. Plus she ends up babysitting Chad her princable child.
Ryker is a fairy and he has come bringing a message from her Grandmother who is a Fairy who wants her to come and help her with a war to rescue her people.
Allie finds out she is a fairy maybe on both sides of the trees. She confronts her Grandfather and learns about her Grandmother. Her other Grandparents die before she can meet them.
Their is some really funny parts to the story.  Leaves you wanting to read the next book to see what happens next in the story.

Moonrise is the second book in the Moonstone series. So far I have enjoyed reading these books and am going to start the third book in a few minutes.
The books are clean good verses evil stories.
Allie is back in school but her powers are still gone. Her boyfriend junior has gone to Mexico.  Her mom is acting like her mom. Allie is in counseling because of the trama before.
Their are two new kids in town. Who are living in the house and land where Allie and her mom were kept while they were held hostage.
Beck and Nicole Bradford have  their own secrets and power. Beck helps Allie get her power back and working.
A lot of the characters from the first book are back as part of Allie life. New bad guys one she knows about is in her school Shane who is a gang member and has the triangle on his palm.
Star Seekers learn their is a second prophecy about Allie and the moonstone. They will stop at nothing to get it back.

I was given all 4 books in this series to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley. I decided to write each book review seperately.
Allie was living with her mother in a small trailer behind her Uncle Sid's house when she fell off a ten foot ladder into a electric fence.
Allie had a whole in center of her forhead. She is starting to being able to move things with her mind.
Allie takes care of her mom who has been sick for two years. She does not even know her dads name. Every thursday evening her mom's lawyer comes over and Allie goes to stay at the local haunted house with Kizzy. Kizzy is a rich lonely widow with one adopted daughter who only comes around when she wants money.
Kizzy tells Allie that her hole is right their where the third eye would be. Kizzy gives her a moonstone that is powerful and that she is the one that was fortold to have it.  Tells her to always protect it.
The day that Kizzy is going to lawyer to sign a new will she is beaten up and left for dead in her house. Allie finds out at school and she leaves the school and looses her flip flops running when Junior gives her a ride over to Kissy's and than the hospital. Kizzy is in a coma and a Strange man posing as Kizzy uncle is looming over the bed.
Allie is afraid that someone will try and harm Kizzy. Allie finds the prophecy with Junior;s help and finds out people want her moonstone for its power.
With it Allie can hear people thoughts.  She is told to choose well that one path leads to glory the other to death. To protect the moonstone and trust no one.
I got caught up in the story and can't wait to start the next book in the series.

It was a good story but I felt a little lost because if there were early stories that I had not read. Just did not connect to the characters.
Raina Ravenwing is a game warden and is following a bunch of wolves that are larger than normal.She comes upon a man that the wolves are surrounding him.
Slade Donovan is a vampire and demolitions expert for the vampires security team. The wolves are following him and he can hear them and understand them. He now knows they are shifters. He wounds some and kills one when Raina tries to arrest him for killing a protected wolf.
Slade puts a glamor on her and leaves her a sleep in her car and to forget him.
The next day she is at the vampire headquarters asking for help to track a missing boy that the wolves might have taken. His boss tells him to help her.
While slade and Raina are on the mountain tracking them he has a attack of moon sickness that he alone gets. He passes out for the first time for six hours.
The wolves attack them and Raina can talk to them too. She is called the wolve whisper and thought all the old stories were just stories. She saw the last wisper get torn apart by the wolves and that was Slade's mother.

As the Crow Dies is a murder mystery and it kept me guessing till the end. 
Jason Crow was 6'6' talls and all around athlete that was drafted into war instead of Dallas Cowboys.  In Vietnam he lost both legs, above the knees.
Jason was told he would never walk, but his dad said if he wanted it bad enough he could do it.
He was finally able to come home after he got his new legs. His best friend Zach was driving him, but when he got their there were police cars.  They told him that his dad committed suicide.
Jason believed his father was murdered and was determined to find out who did it.
Thier were a lot of good suspects who looked good for one reason or another. a lot of drama of others beeing taken out to.
I really liked Jason and hope to see him in more books in the future.  Jason was going through tough times but he did not give up on himself or on others.  Yes he wanted his legs back and the future he was supposed to have. But he was making new plans.

It is a nice romance to escape into for awhile.
DR. Eric Chambers is upset that some herbalist is treating his patients and he wants to know what she gave to him.
Piper Stevenson doesn't know what he is talking about. She never gave Randy anything.  She did give his wife something to put on her skin though.
It turns out that Randy thought it was tea and fixed it and liked the taste so drank it all up. Then after Randy got his wife pregnant.
Eric wants to see what is in it. So his friend Dave who is studying male impotence can see if it works better than viagra.
Piper refuses because she is sure if it does work she will have reporters all around her again. Piper needs to protect her six year old son Cole.
She does not want him to find out about the scandle in her past.
really like the characters, especially the minor ones in the story.

Wow a lot of action in this story. There is some love scenes,swear words and violence.
The story is centered around two twin brothers,Rickie & Trace who are autistic that witnessed a murder outside their special school. They have great memory for numbers. They saw the killer's face,make and color of car and even the licence numbers.
The dead guy turns out to be a Mafia head and suspects is the Columbian cartel.
Their teacher was standing by them so all three were taken in to a safe house. Their is a joint agency task force that is in charge of them.  Someone sold their identys & pictures in the paper so they had to relocate them. As they are comming into the gate they run into a trap and some of the guards get killed and wounded.
Jefferson of the FBI is wounded badly. Montana is excop who now is lawyer gets the 5 of them away. They know now that their is a leak in the task force so they can't go in. Montana knows a 80 year old doctor who helps them.
Their are a lot of different places they go to hide and figure out what to do next. They are in a lot of trouble no one knows if Jefferson was left back in New York or if he is on the run with them.
Laura is trying to keep the boys from freaking out from all the things that are surrounding them. They don't do well with change. They take boxes of the boys stuff with them at all the moves.
I did not put the book down till I had finshed reading it. Laura and Montana romance was a little weak.  I would read more books like this one.

Cold Creek is a nice sweet story. I enjoyed reading.
Taft Bowman is the fire chief for Cold Creek. His twin brother is the chief of police. Taft is building his own house on five acres. Taft is single and playine  the field. But 10 years ago he was engaged to marry Laura Pendleton until she dumped him a week before the wedding and left the country.
Laura was engaged to Taft but since he would not postpone the wedding and change she called it off. She went to work at a hotel in Spain. Two years later she got pregnant with Alex and married Javier the father. Then she had Maya who has Down Syndrome. Seven months after her husband death she came home to Cold Creek.
Thier is a fire at the motel that Alex started accidently. After it was out Taft went to talk to Mrs Pendleton the owner. Taft got a big surprise when he saw Laura their.
I really like Maya and Alex, what charming kids. I would like to read more about the Bowman family.

In the Sins of his Past Deuce Monroes comes home after he lost his baseball career in a car crash. He plans to buy the family sports bar and run it.
Deuce is in for a big surprise his dad has sold part of the bar and is now a internet cafe with plans to add a theater,art gallery taking over the whole block.
The part owner is Kendra his best friend little sister. They have worked hard for 2 years on the plans.  Kendra has had a crush on Deuce for a long time.
years earlier they made love when Deuce came home for his moms funeral.
Kendra than lost her scholarship to Harvard because of Deuce and now he threatens to take her new dream away.
Deuce finds other changes in his hometown. His father is living with his fiance and Deuce has never heard of her.
Seamus Monroe took over the family bar from his father but he did not realize that Deuce wanted to run it now. He had made plans with Kendra and business is better at internet cafe than a bar.  He is torn about what to do now. Seamus and Diane had plans to be gone for 6 weeks. While they are gone Deuce and Kendra try to see how things could work out.  Kendra will run the internet cafe and after 5 will be a sports bar again.
Kendra is not afraid because she does not think he can show bar is doing good in only a months time.
Deuce being a hometown celeberty in two days with a bunch of phone calls the bar is crowded on first night. He has a lawyer friend from high school as bartender and other members of high school are back to help him to open.
With the bar doing so well it also brought in more business for the coffee shop during the day.
Deuce also wants to date  Kendra where they left off. Kendra does not want to make same mistakes.

Tangling With Ty by Jill Shavlvis
This was published the first time in 2003. I enjoy getting to read books that I have missed or reading old favorites.
Nicole is a Doctor and  works all the time. She graduate from High school before she was a teenager. She short, cute,smart and ackward in socializing.
One day coming home found a guy lying down in hallway.  Ty Patrick O'Grady an architect is looking over the building that was old and run down right now only 3 people live in.
Ty and Nicole are both alone and happy about it' but they can't fight the attraction.
I enjoyed watching Ty and Nicole fighting and letting love in. Their are some love scenes in the book.
Whatever Reilly Wants by Maureen Child
This book I would give 3 stars too. Did not like bet the Reilly's made 
start with. Did not like Connor especially the first scene with Emma. The idea that they can't go to months without sex Connor blames everything on. Lot of love scenes. But on the other hand want to know who wins the bet. Connor when he loses he is glad. Also when he realizes what mistakes he has made makes up for them.
Connor is a triplet. Their Uncle died and left them 10,000 together. They were trying to decide how to split it or what. Even give part to their older brother Liam some of the money. They came up with a bet and it was Liam Idea of it.  Liam is a Father. The triplets can't have sex for three months and the one who finshes wins. If all three can't make it the money comes to Liam who as a Father I believe in Catholic church. The loosers have to be in big parade wearing cocnut bras.
Connor comes complaing to Emma and makes some hurtful remarks about her to her face and does not even notice that she is mad. Her revenge is to make Connor loose the bet and break his heart.

Guy Langman is in high school.  He is still reeling from his fathers death.  He has gone to some counceling.  his father was over 20 years older than his mom. Guy is known for being lazy.
Anoop Chattopadhyay is best friend and has talked him into joining the forensic club after school.  also drives Guy around because no license or car.
Guy decides he is going to write a book about his dad. All the sayings he said.
Guy realized their was a lot he did not know about his dad.  One secret is he has a older brother. With the lessons he learned  from picture that his mom lied. The guy in the picture was his dads son.
They are dealing with high school issues,plus morning and trying to solve a real crime.

I enjoyed it. But would like better if I had read other books before. It does stand alone. Also was lot of sex scenes in it.
Motor City might be the start and the end of this book but in between goes to many worlds or dimensions each different.
Desmond Sutton is a mage and belongs to the Wyndewin League.  The league fight the supernatauls that harm humans.
He has been trying to stop demon drug that harms humans.  His boss James Brewer told him to stop associating with the other species. That now would even be his sister who is marrying into them.
In other cases he has worked with elves and werewolfs and got the job done.
Lana Novak a were wolf that is part of the pack he worked with before. Lana is a part of a band and helps runs her family bar, also is finshing her masters. Lana just invited him to his sister's wedding shower and tomorrows  Thanksgiving dinner. They end up sleeping together at the start. she is with him and a demon named Vin go down to Salt mine under detroit to blow the gate to other dimensions when thinks go wrong and they get trapped on the wrong side.
They meet a lot of different species on thier way to finding home. One of the messages of the book is working together can make things easier for all. No matter what color or race.

 This book has four different stories in it. I really liked the first story.  I am going to write a review of each story as I read it.
Cindy and the Prince
Cindy lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters.  Cindy owns half the house and half of the business. Her two stepsisters work in the office and her stepmother owns the other  half.  Cindy can't afford to live anywhere else and her stepmother is contesting the will.
Luke Princeton owns a business across from Cindy and keeps asking her out.in
Cindy keeps saying no.  Luke also is raising his niece after her parents were killed.
Second story is of Cindy's stepsister Annie and Luke's business partner Brent story. This story takes place soon after  Cindy's story. It
starts with Brent watching out for Annie who is watching & running Cindy's business while she is on her honeymoon. Brent is running his shop while Luke is away too.
Annie after she realized how badly her mom had treated Cindy and all the lies she had believed about Cindy was try to make amends too Cindy.
Annie was starting to help with accounting at Luke & brents place and was having trouble with the accounts. Also Cindy's car was stolen and found in Annie garage. Luke was ready to fire her but Brent was thinking she was set up.
Till death us Part is Zella story.
Zella's mother wants to set her up on blind date because she wants to open a business as a wedding planner.  Zella is  not getting married so her mom can use the publicity. So Zella makes the excuse she has a book club meeting every friday at library.
The book club annoucement she glanced out was really a bookclub for writers.
Trevor was actually writing under the name T.J. Zereth.  Before anyone told her about that, Zella raved about her favorite author and how she would love to meet him and get a picture together.
Trevor was attracted to Zella and wanted her to meet the man before the author. Trevor kept making excuses to be with her and had her help him come up with ways to kill someone for his books.
Zella's mom just heard part of conversations and she thought he was a hitman and trying to get her daughter to help him kill for real.
The last book is
Never too Late
Farrah Tobias story she is Cindy's Godmother.
Farrah is a elementry teacher and has never been married.  Her fiance got sick and died before they could marry.
Kat and her friend Tyler decide to set Farrah up with Tyler's uncle  Matt.
lots of people were always trying to introduce women to Matt.  This was the first time someone set him up with a older woman.  Matt recongized what the teens were doing, but Farrah had no idea why they were always bumbing into Matt.
All four stories were good and fun to follow the characters.
The books did not have swearing or sex scenes in them, would let my teens read them. I would read more books by Gail. I was lent the ebook in exchange of honest review by Netgalley.

It really fits the time.  I feel so grateful for all the military that they have done for us. 

The story was good and made me feel for the characters.  Their were a lot of love scenes and swearing in this book.

It starts in a bar the night before they Sergeant First Class Shane Garrison goes to keep his men out of trouble. He is hiding that he just had his appendix taken out.

Captain Trent Davila is his friend even though he is not to  now that he had rank.

Carponti is a loose canon. Always cracking joikes and causing trouble.

Jen St. James is at the bar with Laura Davila. Jen is a nurse and dealing with the lost of a breast.

Laura is saying goodby to her husband again this is the 5th time he has deployed. He is always gone for any occasions even both of his childrens birth.

Lieutenant Jason Randall is a terrible officer and no one likes him. He has rank and thinks he is special because his father is a brigade commander at Fort Carson.

This story gives a hint of what goes on with deployment and those who are left behind. Also a hint of the trials that being wounded or seeing those around you dying.
I do want to know what happens next in the story with some of the characters..

I liked both stories in this book.  Their are love scenes in both Tempted by
Her Innocent Kiss and Never Too Late, the short story by Brenda Jackson.
In the first book is the story of Devon and Ashley. It opens with Devon planning to ask Ashley to marry him. Her father made that a condition of their companies mergeing together. Devon is not to happy about decieving Ashley.
After a romantic dinner at his place before they make love, Ashley tells him that she is a virgin.
Devon is proud and possessive. tells her that from now on she will stay with him. The next morning wakes up to a rose, card and diamond ring beside her.
Ashley is full of joy and wears were feelings out for people to see. She works at a animal shelter. She wants to have a house, animals and children.
On her wedding night she finds out that Devon does not love her and that her father made Devon marry her.
Devon tells her faults and that he thinks they can make the marriage be a good one.
Ashley starts to make the changes to fit with what he wants and becomes more unhappy all the time. Devon does not like the changes either.
In Never Too Late
Sienna marrage will be over in two weeks time. She goes to their cabin to take all her stuff out of it, because Devon gets the cabin in the divorce.
Devon goes to the cabin because he left something their a couple of weeks ago and wants it before the big snow storm comes.
Devon is not happy that she is their too. Sienna wants to know if he came alone when he stayed their and what he left.
Sienna looks out and a blizzard of snow did not hold out for the next day it was here now.  They dont have a lot of food to last a few days they might be stuck their.
Devon did not want a divorce and was surprised when he came home one day to find that she had left. He wants this time to figure out what went wrong and if they can save their marrage.

River daughter is the first story. Ha takes care of the river and the river takes care of her. She does the job her mother and her mother's mother have done before her. Ha is pregnant with Truc.  Three stran gers come and ask her to take them up river, she feels they wont let her keep her wages, but she needs the gold to have her power. Ha will protect the river if they are their to take from it.

sneaking into the US to get better job to help family back home. Becareful what you agree to when you hire a coyete.

Definatly want more of this series.  Its romance,good against evil, teenage drama. Kept my attention did not stop reading till done.
Jax has runaway from her Florida home. Her plans are to go to school and stop using her power. She wants to be good and normal. If she uses too much power her family & coven will find her and kill her.
Jax has been home schooled and her family is training her to come into full power when she is 17. Jax does not want to hurt others. Her first day in school she meets Toni and her cousin Keller
Keller hunts the supernatural like Jax. If he or his father find out she is a witch they will try and kill her. Jax is beautiful all the witches are. She likes Keller and Keller likes her back.
Their are a group of girls who are popular and treat Jax like she is dirt, even throws a softball at her.
Keller has been hunting supernatural since he was young. His dad is a preacher.  His uncle died hunting years ago.
Toni is a drummer and friends Jax right away. She does not really date at all.
Egan shows up at Jax's trailer and he let her know he feels the same about his coven as she does hers. Egan figured together they can be safer than a part. Egan has found a book that tells things a little different about them that their coven does not want them to know.

A romantic comedy car trip along Route 66 makes me want to travel too.
I laughed with them and at them and throughly enjoyed the book.
Jett Murphy is head of his company.  Jett plans to buy an old diner to tear down and sell to a developer who wants to build on it. Jett does business but keeps himself a part and out of limelight.
Georgia Darling worked for jet but when she found out their company planned to buy the dinner she quit and told in a note if they would not stop she would go to the press to stop them.
Her note sounded like blackmail to Jett and his uncle.
Thier is a reporter who has been trying to find dirt for a story on Jett. He found out another reporter was meeting Georgia and he went instead.
Jett showed to meet with Georgia instead of sending someone esle.
Georgia decided to not to talk to reporter and was trying to get out of restraunt without being seen. she puts a plastic bag over her hair and grabs a busboy bin. and a comedy of pitfalls with broken dishes food flying as Jett trys to rescue Georgia and reporter taking pictures trying to chase them. It got on tv too.
Jett was supposed to stay at his family cabin and out of site for a week for the deals to have time to pull together.
Georgia talks him into coming with her along the route 66 down to the cafe and giving her a chance to save it. They where disguises and get into a lot of trouble along the way.

5STARSI listened to Conversations with a Dead Man on my kindle.  It is special book just like your listening to someone special telling stories about his life, while dead and a live.
 John Wesley Elder  starts at the ending of his life, in 1834,  where he made own casket,stone chose his clothes to be buried in.  His sons did not agree.
He is telling his story with lots of humor makes the history very entertaining and easy to hear.
 But talking about cutting off a leg was hard to hear. Deaths from measles, cholera, & other deases that masses died.
In 1700s talks about indentured ,slaves, french indian war, war of independant, about making furniture and barttering it for goods he needs.
I really enjoyed listening to the history he made it seam so real.
He regrets having his wife buried beside him, because she still complains and his Indian Women who was his love even though she did not marry he took her back to her tribe John still misses.

Loved Like Sweet Potato Pie. Southern Fried Sushi is the first book. Time line both take place within the year.  Both are clean books no swearing, no sex scenes. I laughed, cried and was not ready to say good bye.
Shiloh is the main character who is changing her life along and every time she thinks things can't go worse they do. She starts going to church. Works two jobs to try and pay her debts.
Adam has a big roll to play still willing to help everyone he can. 
Kyoko shows up in Virgina because she is worried about Shiloh and all the changes she is facing.
Carlos shows up at her door. Wanting to stay with her and gives her back her diamond engagement ring.
Becky and Tim are back with laughter and tears. Sharing thier trials and blessings.
I did not want to put this book down till I finshed it. I will look for more books from Jennifer in the future.

Review: The Cowboy Tutor by Linda Ford

The line of books really fit this book Harlequin Love Inspired Historical.  The title also fits well. I enjoyed The Cowboy Tutor that is set in the great depression era. Which a lot of people are now struggling with some of the same problems.

Madge lives with her mom and two sisters. Madge was a tomboy who followed her father and learned from him skills.  So when her father was died she took over the support of her family.  She let the  bank have most of the farm land, sold the livestock and kept a cow and calf and some chickens.  She took in laundry and because she had a great big room upstairs to hang the laundry to dry so it stayed dust free.
Louisa is the oldest girl but has been sick most of her life.  She is beautiful and wants so much to learn.  So her mom took some of Madge money to place an ad for a tutor and hoped he would marry her.
Sally is the youngest and helps with chickens and does cooking too with her mom.
Madge had lost her best clinet and then found some of the money missing and took on another job to pay the bank so they would not lose their house too.
Justin  was the tutor hired for Louisa. He had a limp and long issues coughed and was frail.  He quit teaching and became a cowboy.
Judd is Justin real name he is hiding who he really is because he learned that the person who took his mothers savings was going to live in this area and he was going to get justice for his mother.  Judd than plans to go be a cowboy again he loves working outside.
They turn to prayer to get through the tough times and the scriptures.  I really like Madge and appreciate her willingness to work for her family.  This story did leave me feeling good.  I real read more books from Linda. Southern Fried Sushi by Jennifer Rogers Spinola

Good entertaining and uplifting story. Will certainly read follow book.
Shiloh Jacobs at first did not think much about her but I started to care and even cried in the book. Shiloh is working in Japan at a newspaper, has won rewards.spends way too much and takes short cut at work.
Her mom is back in the states dies. Shiloh goes for funeral and her life falls apart. One thing after another happens to her and she is stuck in Virgina.
She meets friends of her moms that are church goers and they keep giving her a hand and sharing what helps them get threw the trials.
Shiloh learns about her mom how she has changed for the better. Learns a lot of lifes lessons. It does have scriptures and examples of how we grow but it flows together without being too preachy. It makes for a charming story that I want more of.
The characters are a wide range that are well rounded. Some of the characters you can really see them and feel for them.
Shiloh grows a lot and takes responsibilty for her past actions. She gets mad and acts out but is not afraid to apoligize after.

It starts out grabbing your attention right away. Air Force Captain Tori Carr has resigned from service and is flying herself back home to Coyote Springs. When another plane suddenly is their. her plane is damaged and on fire.
Winslow Carr and his partner are planning to tear down the barrio and replace it with upscale developing. Their is only one hold out Jesse Amorado who owns a small construction company and owns six houses that are all in their way. He knows his part of town is in desperate need to fix up but he likes thier community and no matter how much money they offer him the answer is no.
Jesse brother who was gunned down in a drive by shooting has made a plan to fix his community. He likes how they pull together. Jesse is single and living in the family home. His mother, sister-in-law and her kids live on a ranch close by. Jesse has a lot of pride.
Tori has agreed to help her father with his business while she waits for a job offer from an airline. Tori first lover was Burton Hazlitt but she broke it off years ago. Tori is trying to find a compermise that will help her father and keep Jesse dream alive too.
Thier is more action,romance, some mystery to keep your attention. Good clean story. Looking forward to reading more from Ken Casper in the future.

I enjoy reading about Virgin River community books.  I think this is the third book so far that I have read.
Katie Malone has decided that now its safe to be around her brother Conner again, She is going to live closer to him.  Conner had witnessed a murder and they had bombed their business so the D.A. Moved her and twins across the country and Conner up in the mountains of Virgin River.
Katie was taking her 5 year old twins to DisneyWorld first than going to Virgin River and enjoy her sons summer vacation before deciding where she wanted to live and what job she wanted.  Her husband was in the army and died before the twins where born.  Conner was their for her,Andy and Mitch.  They all had a stressful year with all the changes.
Katie on her trip up the mountains to visit Conner got a flat and she knew how to change a tire but couldn't get lug nuts off. Four motorcyclists stopped to help them. Katie thought Dylan was good looking and thought he was familar.
Conner and Leslie took the family to local bar to eat. Dylan and friends where their and Katie realized he was the child actor that she had a crush on years ago. 
Dylan now a rancher and pilot had his own small airport, and charter business was having bad times not a lot of people where flying on charters right now.  Dylan was planning after the vacation with friends to maybe look into making a movie again to help his business stay in business without having to fire a bunch of staff.
Dylan whole family life was a mess. He had a bunch of have siblings and step siblings all down on their luck except the grandmother who got him out of hollywood to straighten him self up after his best friend at 15 died of overdose.  His father was already died from bad car accident.  Dylan never dated mothers but he could not stay away from Katie.
It was fun seeing them fall in love and Dylan also fell for Andy and Mitch. Conner and Dylan did not get along to well. I want to read more of the Virgin River books. I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.

It was suspense, you were never quite sure who all you could trust in the story.
Hunter Cassidy disappeared six years ago and left behind Alexis Baptiste pregnant.
Hunter was a former DEA agent and thought his boss was on the take. CIA
had shown him proof. The CIA wanted him to go undercover and get close to head of a drug cartel and get some papers in his files.
His cover was a gun dealer.
Hunter hated what he was doing but thought it was for CIA found out it was not sactioned at all. He got the files and they promised to leave him alone and Alexis too.
Alexis has a five year old and plans to get married in a month. Today she is going for her final wedding dress fitting. When she sees her exboyfriend following her.  Then someone breaks into her house to kill her.
Hunter just plans to keep an eye on Alexis to make sure she is safe when he sees her son and realizes he is a father. Then Alexis sees him following her.
Hunter heard her scream and kills the killer. Hunter won't let her call the police but she was able to call her fiance when he was hiding the body.
Hunter is not sure now who to trust his old DEA boss he thought was crooked and the CIA blackmailed him to work as gun dealer and he ended up killing drug cartel leader and others to get the files out. His own history looks bad. He needs to keep Alexis and his son safe.

Review: Sinful Temptation by Ann Christopher

This is the second book of the Davies Twins.  I liked it but wish their was more of the characters from the first one. Their are a few love scenes towards the end of the story.
Antonios Davies is at home in the family mansion after escaping from the Talaban. Everyone thought he died in the explosion that injured his twin.
He returned home to find his twin married to his ex-fiance.  He has nightly nightmares. Tony plans to work at the family auction house. 
Tony wants to find Talia who he met through his nephew and became his pen pal. When Tony wrote back telling her of his growing attachment to her. She stoped writing to him.
Talia was having feelings for Tony after writing to him for awhile, eventhough when she started he had a fiance and her a boyfriend.  Talia was an artist and gave art lessons to Nick Tony's nephew.  Talia was getting ready to travel abit when Tony came to see her. Talia was glad to see him and than brushed him off.
Tony came back the next day with his 2 cousins that helped run the family auction house and told her its business why he was their. Tony offered her a job repairing a murial at Hamptons mansion that was ruined by a storm that his mother loved. His cousins also offered her to paint a mureal at thier art house.  Oh and yes she would have to stay at mansion while she was doing that painting.
Tony & Talia had some serious issues to work out. I would like to see what happens to Talia sister and Tony's cousins.

I have never seen or heard about the ytube video so I was just thinking oh cute animal book. Yes it has great pictures and most of the animals I did not know anything about even that existed. Boy was I shocked at all the swearing.
I would not recommend for kids who can read. I don't even want my 21 & 22 year old to read it. Hardly swear and try not to.  So if you don't mind swearing all the time this book is for you.
The animals that it covers are the Honey Badger, the Aye-Aye, Tasmanian Devil, the Emperor Tamarin, Pink Fairy Armadello,The Tarsier, Opossum, Solenodon, Wombat, American Bullfrog, Sloth.
All of them are having to struggle to survive and their habat is disappearing and I know we need to care and protect wildlife. This book can reach some people with its humor and foul langage. I would love to see them all in person but I know thats impossible even with zoos.

Tomorrow's Sun is uplifting, historical, christian & romantic all in one book.
Emily Foster has bought a old house to fix up and flip it and go to another town and do the same thing working her way to California.
Emily bought the old house from a friend who inheirted from her grandma. When they were teens they both came and stayed with her for awhile.
Emily has been in a bad accident and she still uses a cane and in pain.
Jake Braden is one of the contracters bidding on doing the job. Jake owns his family company and lives with his mother.  Jake sister died and left twins who are with their stepfather. Jake wants custody of them.
Lexie & Adam are in seventh grade. They do not like their stepfather.  He is mean but likes the money he gets for them. They are smart.
The story jumps back to day of the Underground Railroad. Hannah lived in this house and loved Liam who was learning to be a blacksmith during the day and a conductor at night.
Emily & Jake find a secret room down in the cellar.  Jake right off thinks it was part of the underground railroad. They also find a few letters but want to find out more.

Spirits Rising is book 1 of the Spirit Caller Series.
Rachel can feel the supernatural. Thier are those in her comunity that call her a witch and demon worshiper.
The teenagers know if they are drunk she will come and give them a ride home, rather than have them drive drunk.  Manuel O'Toole called because their were a lot of people in his basement drinking and his parents will be coming home soon. He needs help getting rid of them.  They were Vikings ghosts in the flesh and drinking.
It was interesting short novel, that left a lot of strings for a more stories.  Like who abanded her as a baby. The guy she likes is her good friend but he has a girl friend. Would like to see where the next novel would go.

The Evil Inside is a 4th in the Krew novels.  I have not read any of the ones before, but I have read one after where he sets up another unit. I do feel that I have missed some about how the group worked together previous. But does do well standing on its own. I would like to read them all some day.
The story takes place in Salem, Massachusetts.  It has a lot of the Salem Witch trials ref. in it. Even some of their ghosts.
Sam Hall a high price defense attorney is coming home to Salem to deal with his family home and almosts runs over a naked boy in the middle of the street covered with blood.
The police when they come put thier guns on the boy who is in shock and tells Sam he just killed his whole family with a ax.
Jenna Duffy is a member of a special team in the FBI when her Uncle Jamie asks her to come visit him on vacation now.  On her way into town she hears about the murders that happened in the Lexington House.  decades ago other sets of murder happened in that house.
Jenna's Uncle Jamie asked her to come because of other murders that happened last week and six months before that. They were killed by axe too.
Malachi Smith was accused of being seen coming out of the house by other teenage boys. Though a grocery owner swears that the boy was in his store for over an hour at time of first murder too. Now Malachi was under arrest for killing his family.
Malachi was different than most boys. He was skinny and belonged to a church that was strict. When the big football players would try and cause trouble for him he would just turn the cheek.  In fact one football player at lunch time took his tray and started to beat himself up and said it was Malachi gave him the eye and made him do it.
Malachi was taken out of school because a lot of people believed the football player. Jamie knew that Malachi was innocent of any of the crimes and wanted jenna to help clear him.
Jenna sometimes see past events happen again she also sees ghosts too. Some of her team comes to visit the sites for halloween. Because the FBI can't investigate unless they are called in.
Jamie also convinces Sam to head Malachi defense probono. Sam also has a private investigator license to help him investigates what happens on his cases and finds the real killers.
So Jenna is just helping Sam with the defense. Sam does not believes that she can talk to ghosts.  They grow a lot closer and Sam starts believing more.

I had a nice enjoyable break reading Sweet Sourthern Nights.  Also learned a few new facts at the same time.
Dr. Levi Eaton is working in Kentucky for six months. He has a practice in New York city.  When he is asked to take Duncan Chase's sister to a wedding in two days.  He calls her and agrees to have dinner the night before so they knew a little about each other first.
Angela Chase five years ago the day before her wedding got a call from her fiance saying he and her best friend where flying to vegas to get married because they were having a baby. After that she dated a lot not wanting to get serious with anyone. At her cousin will be the first time she has seen the pair since they left her.
Angela owns a gift shop with her cousin and only two of her family knows that she writes romance novels under a different name. Angela only trusts her family now days.
Levi agrees to help her to seem to be serious as a couple when she finds that they are moving back to town. Levi does not want to get serious with anyone when he is going back to New York in a few months. He promises Angela that he won't lie to her or cheat on her.
Angela shows him around the kentuck derby and she is a southern belle.
They were fun to watch. I hope her brothers will get a book about them.

Review: The Lost Goddess by Tom Knox

I have mixed views on this book.  Their is a lot of history in here that I really did not know about. All the violence of the past is painful, scary and the numbers are hard to believe. But if we do not learn from the past we will repeat it.
The mystery and suspense some of it or a lot of the science bits I did not totally understand and I really hope that part if pure fiction but know some is probably true.
Their are two parts of the story and how they switched threw me some and had to realize that they had switched again.
Julia was a archaeolgist working in a cave underground in France at the begining. I liked her but wanted more emotion from her. I felt a little detached from her.  She was trying to put the pieces together and came up with a theory.
Jake was a photographer who was working on photos for a coffee book when he wanted to find out more of what was happened in the past That Chemda was trying to uncover in Cambodia.  So Jake went with her to the Plain of Jars and their escape to figure out the past and stay alive began.
I had a hard time caring about Jake and Chemda I don't know if it was I could not totally escape into the book or if just a bad day for me to connect.  I am thinking it was because I was more concerned about the real victims in the history of the region that I could not enjoy the book more.
I know that I want to know more of the region history and have already looked up and read more about the Plain of Jars.  The history and the discriptions of the region were real and I could envision it.

Review:Persuasion A Latter-Day Tale by Rebecca H. Jamison

I stayed up till 4:00 am reading this book.  I think its the first book of Rebecca's that I have read. Hope not the last one. It's  an LDS romance of what happens when you run into ex-boyfriend and rethinks the past.
Anne is helping her dad who is in so much debt that he is loseing his house with a garage sale.  When Neil an old boyfriend shows up with his brother Jack Wentworth to look at the house.  Anne was once in engaged for a day to Neil but her parents did not want her to marry him.  She also was young and with her parents divorced Anne wanted to make sure it was right.
Now 8 years later Anne is still single and is going to stay with her sister Mary who is on bedrest and help out with her two nephews after work each day.  When she walks into Mary's frontroom and finds Neil with Mary's two single sister-in-laws, Hannah and Lily.  Both are interested in Neil, who is staying with his brother while he recovers from accident from car chase.
Neil is now a Police Captain and still single.  No one knows they used to date and had a bad breakup.  Neil hangs around Hannah and Lily a lot and Anne right next door staying at her sisters.   Neil avoids talking to Anne or even looks at her.
Anne keeps looking back at their relationship and how it ended. She has lots of regrets.  They keep running into each other, every time Anne thinks maybe he can forgive her something comes up in the way.
It keeps you interested in the story wanting to know what happens next. Who will Neil pick Hannah or Lily everyone tries to guess.
I liked the book it had no swearing or sex scenes in it.  A book I don't have to worry about my kids reading it. I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.

Amber Fox is back! She still works for her ex-fiance turn boss, Fiance as a insurance investgator.  Amber used to be a cop till she shot her boss in the but.
Amber is smart,funny and afraid if she does set a wedding date something will make Brad disappear again.
Brad used to be in SAS and last time they were going to be wed he was sent on a secret mission for 3 months and he could not tell anyone or get word out. He is owner of insurence company. He has killed before when Amber was about to be killed. He had  the bodies disappear. Brad eats no junk food, does not like clutter or cats. But he likes Amber's cat and nick nacks.
Hacker used to be in SAS under Brad's command. He  use voodoe only for good. He can hack computers.
Tia is sec. for Brad met Amber when she was searching for Tia's father. Tia is a psychic. Not very good at it.
This case is to find a missing Chantal daughter of a voodoo priestesses and a big land developer. Her best friend Lisa disappeared six months ago and was trying to find her. Lisa is a reporter but no one knows what story she was working on.
Its a very entertaining story. Hope that this is not the last time I get to read about Amber Fox. I have liked all three stories about her cases.
Sibel Hodges books that I have read all have some humor in them and will read more of her books in the future.  I was given this book to read in exchange of honest review.

Review: Baby Trap by Sibel Hodge

This is a serierous subject but told with laughter. About a couple that one day the Gina in her 30's wakes up and decides she wants a baby.
But the first month no luck and then after a few more months ended up taking his sperm for testing. She has 2 hrs to get the sperm to hospital lap.
She gets stuck in traffic ends up going over a farmer field and speeding down a road and she has tube of sperm down her pants to keep at body tempature is pulled over for speeding 20 miles over. She asks for ticket and cop never had someone ask for a ticket. He has her get out and sees the top of tube. She breaks down and tells him why and what is in tube. He understands because it took him & wife 3 years so she gets a police escort and makes it 5 min. left.
Gina gets more and more stressed and Karl feels like he just a thing to only have sex on certain days and certain ways.
I know it seems unfair that so many people want to have a baby and can't and so many people throw babies and children away. I know when I got married and 2 weeks later ended up pregnant I felt guilty because of people we knew tried for years. than I got pregnant again and 3 years after I was married I had 2 beautiful girls and was a widow.  We don't know all are blessings and trials at the time they are happening and we don't see exactly what others are going through. Thanks for showing that their is always hope.
