Warrior’s Moon

Medieval Historical Romance by Jaclyn M. Hawkes

Never in all the kingdom has there been a more brave and protective champion. Nor such a loyal and capable maiden. And they loved each other desperately.

But is their love strong enough to withstand all their dark age holds—danger, feudalism, disease, and unfair oppression?

Yes, they truly loved each other desperately.

They loved their kingdom more.

Author Jaclyn M. Hawkes

Jaclyn M. Hawkes grew up in Utah with 6 sisters, 4 brothers and any number of pets. (It was never boring!) She got a bachelor’s degree, had a career and traveled extensively before settling down to her life’s work of being the mother of four magnificent and sometimes challenging children. She loves shellfish, the out of doors, the youth and hearing her children laugh. She and her fine husband, their family, and their sometimes very large pets, now live in a mountain valley in northern Utah, where it smells like heaven and kids still move sprinkler pipe.

My Review: Warrior's Moon by Jaclyn M. Hawkes

5 stars

I did not put the book down once I started reading it. The characters right off the bat go into your heart and stay their.
I even shed a tear or two. I was not sure how much I would like it just by reading the blurb. I truly admire the characters.

The plot is simple a boy and girl growing up. Close friends till something else starts growing. They are kept apart while he learns to be a knight. But the story is so much more. So much richer in the characters. So willing to do the right thing for many than be selfish. Abuse of power by some. Others sacrifice.

It is full of humor, action, drama, of good and bad and wonderful characters. Of Knights and battles even a fancy masquerade ball with the Prince and Princess. It is also a clean read.

I was sad when the book was done because I wanted to enjoy it longer.

The setting is a time of small villages, ruled under powerful Lords who charge taxes of their tenants.
With a good King in power. A time of Knights and horses.

This is my third book I have read now of Jaclyn M. Hawkes and I have loved all three of them. I will definitely read more books of hers in the future.

I was given this ebook to read and asked in return to give honest review of it and be part of its blog tour.
