My Review: Most Eligible Sheriff

4 Stars

I liked it. It had good relationships between characters, romance, action, heroism. Did have one love scene I skipped over.

The Plot Ruby is being stalked so she leaves town and hides as her twin Scarlett. While Scarlett leaves for a vacation to be with her boyfriend. Ruby deception is figured out the first morning by the Sheriff. He agrees to hide her and help protect her.
A little corny but fun plot.

Ruby's character makes sense to me. Plus I liked her. She does not want anyone hurt by protecting her. She is attracted right off to her sister's boyfriend the Sheriff.

Cliff's character has good and week parts to him. I like how involved he is with his niece and nephew. Love his dog.

This is the third book in the Sweetheart Nevada series. Where most of the town was destroyed by wildfire. They are trying to rebuild and attract back all their tourists that made it famous to get married their. The Rancher's Homecoming is book one of the series.
His Christmas Sweetheart is the second. You see a lot of the same characters in each book. They can each stand alone but I liked reading them in order best.

The pacing of the story was good. I liked the mix of danger, fun and different relationships that are intertwined together.

I would not mind if they decide to have more books in the Sweetheart, Nevada series.

I was given this ebook to read for purpose of giving a honest review of it by Netgalley and Harlequin.
