If You've Got it, Haunt it by Rose Pressey (A Haunted Vintage Mystery #1)

Description

“Delightful, intriguing.” —Carolyn Hart

Cookie Chanel has a passion for fashion—and a murder mystery to solve!

Cookie Chanel has opened her own vintage clothing boutique, It’s Vintage, Y’All, in the charming town of Sugar Creek, Georgia. Always on the lookout for stylish second-hand steals, she attends the estate sale of deceased socialite Charlotte Meadows. But she gets a lot more than she bargained for when Charlotte’s ghost appears before her—offering fashion advice and begging Cookie to find out who murdered her.

As the persistent poltergeist tags along and a possibly psychic pussycat moves into the shop, Cookie sorts through racks of suspects to see who may be hiding some skeletons in the closet. Do a clothing store owner and a disembodied socialite have a ghost of a chance of collaring a killer—or will Cookie’s life be the next one hanging by a thread?

My review: If You've Got it, Haunt it by Rose Pressey (A Haunted Vintage Mystery #1)

4 STARS

This has good suspense, fun clothing, a ghost, full of humor and a cat that can spell. It makes for a good story. It is also a clean read. I did not want to put the story down.

Cookie Chanel went to estate sale looking for vintage clothes for her shop and ends up with a ghost. Cookie loves vintage clothes so she opened her own shop.

Charlotte Meadows was murdered. She does not know by whom. She has to stay close by Cookie. She wants Cookie to find her killer.

Sugar Creek, Georgia is the setting for A Haunted Vintage Mystery.

Cookie also found a stray cat that likes to spell and pick out tarot cards. She warns Cookie that danger is close by.

Cookie also has a best friend who owns a shop next door. She claims she is a tarot card reader. She can't see the ghost but she believes that Charlotte is around.

Cookie finds the next body. She becomes a suspect because she was seen talking to the PI. the day before his murder. The detective knows that Cookie is not telling all she knows. He is new to town too.

I would love to read more from Rose Pressey in the future.

I was given this ebook to read from Net Galley and Kensington Books. In return I agreed to give honest review of it.
