My review: Suddenly Last Summer by Sarah Morgan (O'Neil Brothers #2)

4 STARS

Now I have read all three books about the O'Neil Brothers. I have enjoyed this series. I could do without all the detail love scenes that I skipped over. Love the closeness of the family. love the settings, plots and characters.

This story is Sean O'Neil and Élise Philippe story. Sean is a surgeon who works a lot with sport injuries. He lives 4 hours away. Elise is a French Chef who cooks at the resort and loves the O'Neil family. They slept with each other once last summer.

A family emergency brings Sean home. Sean has some issues to work out with his Grandfather. He is still attracted to Elise. Sean does not to relationships. His career comes first. Elise only does one night stands she will not fall in love again.

The O'Neil family sure yells a lot and loves a lot. They are a close family who are trying to save their family ski resort. It has been in the family for generations now at risk of losing it because of their decease fathers bad management.

Some of the issues that this book deals with are family pressures. To work in family business or to dream through son skills, Also deals with physical abuse. They are handled well.

The setting is summer in Vermont at a ski resort.

I liked the story and will continue to read more from Sarah Morgan. This book can stand alone but is better if you read the series in order.

I was given this ebook to read from Net Galley and Harlequin. In return I agreed to give honest review of Suddenly Last Summer.
