And when coyote shapeshifter Mercy and her Alpha werewolf mate, Adam, are called upon to stop a rampaging troll, they find themselves with something that could be used to make the fae back down and forestall out-and-out war: a human child stolen long ago by the fae.

My review: Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs   (Mercy Thompson #9)

4 STARS

I was excited to read Fire Touched.  It did not disappoint.  This is the ninth book in the Mercy Thompson series.  Story is best read in order but you can read alone.

Mercy Thompson is a coyote shapeshifter.  She is married to Adam who is Alpha of the Colombia wolf pack.  Mercy keeps bringing changes to the wolves.

Lot of old familiar characters are back. Plus there are some exciting new ones added in.

The police call Mercy to see if she or the wolf pack can help with a monster on the bridge.  There is traffic jam and lots of humans around. Turns out to be a troll sent by the fae to threaten the humans. The troll is throwing cars around.  Guns don't stop him or even slow the troll down.  Adam has to choose weather to help or not too.

It is exciting, full of drama, monsters, fae, werewolves and humans.  I hated to put it down each time and could not wait to get back to reading.

I can not get enough of Patricia Briggs books.  She is one author that I reread her books and enjoy them again and again.

It is a clean fantasy book.

I was given this ebook to read by NetGalley and
Berkley Publishing Group.
and in return I agree to give a honest review of Fire Touched.
