Low Pressure by Sandra Brown

3 stars

Low Pressure is about a writer Bellamy Lyston who has a best selling fiction novel. That has leaked that it was based on a true story that happened to her when she was 12. The way she wrote it stirred up a lot emotions and questions about who the real killer might have been. Did the cops have the wrong guy sent to prison where he was murdered?
Someone is messing with Bellamy sending her scary presents, breaking into her car and house. She left her apartment to go bsck to her hometown to figure who wants her stop asking questions.
Dent Carter was Susan's boyfriend at the time of the murder. He was the main suspect but his alibie checked out. Now he is a pilot with his own airplane. He was angry when he found out about the book.
Dale is the detective on the case. He has left the police department. He did not always follow the law.
Rupe is the D.A. now he is a car dealership owner and always doing commercials.
Van Durbin was the reporter that connected the pen name with her real name Bellamy.
He followed her to get more of the story.
The plot is pretty good did not guess the killer of susan or who is wanting to kill Bellamy. I ate the foul language and the sex scenes. Bellamy is a likeable character who is watching her father die of cancer and trying to figure out what really murder her sister before her father dies.
I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.
