Review:The Summer Garden by Sherryl Woods

4 STARS
Its always sad to see the end of a series that you like.  All the familar characters from past books were back and showing how they are growing.  This time their are two couples stories being told, that started in Ireland over Christmas. When the whole O'brien family went together to celebrate and share Nell's beloved Ireland.
Nell ran intoDillon her past boyfriend of 60 years ago.  They got close over Christmas and wanted to see where it could go.  Dillon and his grandaughter Moira came to United States to see Nell's home.  Over at Christmas at a party at Dillon's house to introduce his family to Nells family Luke and Moira got together.
Luke stayed for a few weeks longer getting to know Moira and also looking into Irish Pubs.  Luke decided to open an Irish pub back into his hometown Chesapeake Shores.  He was the youngest grandchild so far and he had not found his passion for anything till now.  He thought that it felt right opening an Irish pub with music.  He felt a lot of pressure because everyone in his family has succeded in their work.
Luke did not know where things were going with Moira, especially because he was working to get his bar open in May. Luke did not have time or energy to email more than a few lines at a time.  Luke did think about her often though.  When at a welcome party for Dillon at his Grandmother's house he was surprised to see Moira over here. Luke missed her and was glad to see her.
Moira was worried about surprising Luke by comming over with her Grandfather.  She was pushing Luke for more than he was ready at this time in his life.  Moira also was getting a new career offered for herself back in Ireland. Plus Luke old girlfriend was still hanging around and the O'brien family all had to get involved before everything was over.
I enjoyed getting to know the O'Brien family. I was given this ebook to read in exchange of a honest review from Netgalley.
