A Killer Collection by Ellery Adams (Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries Book 1)

The first book in the terrific Antiques & Collectibles series by New York Times bestselling author Ellery Adams.
In the world of antiques and collectibles, it helps to have a sharp eye for quality, a good ear for gossip, and a nose for murder.
Molly Appleby is a young writer for Collector’s Weekly, and when the attractive reporter isn’t covering auctions and antique shows all over the South, she’s trying to get her new relationship with a coworker off the ground. When her latest assignment takes her to North Carolina pottery country to cover an exclusive kiln opening, she’s certain the show promises surprising offerings and rare finds. What she doesn’t expect to find is a dead body.
George-Bradley Staunton is known throughout the antiques world as a very wealthy and very ruthless collector, and when he drops dead just after the opening, there are all too few mourners and a seemingly endless list of suspects. When the local police are stumped, Molly steps in to put her journalist’s nose to work sniffing out the culprit. But no sooner does she start collecting clues than another dead body falls into her lap.

As Molly digs beneath the genteel surface of antiques and collectibles, she finds a world filled with backstabbing and competition, and what started as a story about rare collections might leave Molly with nothing more than a collection of corpses.
My review : A Killer Collection by Ellery Adams (Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries Book 1)
4 stars
I want to go look at pottery now.  I liked this cozy.  The end really worked for me.  I kept thinking what would Molly do?  What was fair?  What  decision could she live with herself?
I like Molly she is a writer for Collector Weekly.  She writes about auctions.  Molly is single but she does like a co-worker.
The story she is now working on is about Southern Pottery.  Her mom gets her up at 4:30 am to go to a kiln opening.  It is a race and fight especially for one collector. George- Bradley is not liked.  He takes pieces out of others hands, he is rude and he even knocks people down.  He ends up dying at the opening and no one is upset that he died.
Molly gets lots of interviews with potters, & collectors.  Through her mom she also gets into seeing George-Bradley's collection, before it is broken up and sold.
I want to read more of Antiques & Collectibles series.  It is a good story that keeps you guessing on who the murder is.  The cast of characters were interesting.  The story around the pottery was interesting too.  Lots of drama, lots of crimes & suspects to keep your interest.
The setting is North Carolina.
I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Beyond the Page Publishing.  In return I agreed to give a honest review of A Killer Collection.
