My review: Gluten-Free on a Budget by ’Chandice Probst, Tana Besendorfer
I like how this book is written, the pictures, knowledge and recipes. They are willing to share what websites, books & products that they have found that they like. What their Celiac Disease is and how that they believe that if you have it you need to live it 100%.
They also teach us what we should have in our pantry to cook gluten-free. She gives lists tells where she has found the best deals and brands they like. I had no idea that if you have people with gluten issues that you need to have kitchen or area gluten free. Not to cross contaminate.
Gluten-free was written by a mother and daughter who both have Celiac disease. I thought it was good to know if you think you might have it. Go get tested before trying to go gluten-free, because you need to eat it for them to find it.
The recipes that they love they have shared that they have made gluten-free. That if you buy the basics and cook from scratch you will save money and eat healthier. That you plan your meals and use your leftovers. I have never made stock broth and what homemade has in it that store bought does not have. I guess I will have to not through bones away until I have made stock broth now.
I am going to use some of these recipes and eat healthier this year.
I was given this ebook to read by Cedar Fort Publisher so I could honestly review Gluten-Free on a Budget and be part of it's book tour.
