Deep Autumn Heat by Elisabeth Barrett

4 STARS

Deep Autumn Heat is a Loveswept classic. Thier is a few love scenes in this book.
Lexie Meyers owns her restraunt and her coconut cake is the best. Lexie won't share her reciepe to anyone. Thier is another restraunt in a town away who comes to get a slice of cake and tries to figure out her secret. She is even getting threating notes for it.
Sebastian Grayson is a chef with his own restraunt in New York city and he is getting his own t.v. show. He is in his home town Star Harbor to spend time with his brothers. He sees the cake and orders it for breakfast. Sebastian can't keep his eyes off Lexie. He loves Lexie's cake says it is the best coconut cake he has ever tasted.
Sebastian hangs out the next day in Lexie's kitchen till she kicks him out.
Sebastian challenge her to a cook off with Lexie and he wants to film it.
Lexie is attacked in the middle of town ,but Sebastian sees and yells and races to her side scaring the guy away.
Sebastian's brother Cole is sheriff and is looking into who attacked her and who has been stalking her and leaving the notes.
With both main characters are cooks thier is a lot of talking about food that sounds so good, it made me hungry.
I like the Grayson's brothers all good looking guys. I look forward to reading the other books in the Star Harbor series.
Lexie is a strong talented woman. She is from the west coast but came east after having a bad relationship. She has her own restraunt and now is expanding to opening a
catering business.
Buster is a cook in Lexie's restraunt he hardly talks to everyone. He works hard and lives above the resteraunt. He has made Lexie keep all the threatening notes she has recieved. Buster ends up following Lexie to and from her business to help watch over her when things escalate.
I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.
