A Treacherous Trader by Ellery Adams and Parker Riggs (Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries #4)

Description

A brand-new book in the Antiques & Collectibles series by New York Times bestselling author Ellery Adams and Parker Riggs.
In the world of antiques and collectibles, it helps to have a sharp eye for quality, a good ear for gossip, and a nose for murder.
Molly Appleby is on cloud nine. The talented reporter and senior staff writer for Collector’s Weekly just got engaged to the man she loves. When she takes time off to plan her wedding and shop for a vintage gown, the spunky writer with a growing reputation for finding corpses and solving murders vows to her family and fiancĂ© to avoid trouble at all costs. Until the wedding photographer she visits turns up dead in his home, the victim of foul play.
So when she’s not busy shopping for the perfect dress or sampling endless varieties of cake, Molly once again finds herself attempting to unravel a mystery, and the endless string of women spurned by the playboy photographer leaves no shortage of suspects. When another corpse turns up and Molly discovers that the woman who sold her a gorgeous vintage gown might be the murderer—and that the gown itself may be linked to a decades-old crime—Molly must summon all her sleuthing skills to find the killer before her preparations for the big day become plans for her funeral.

My review: A Treacherous Trader by Ellery Adams and Parker Riggs (Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries #4)

4 STARS
This is the 4 book in the Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries.  I have read only two books of this series. I have liked this series and want to read the two books I have missed.

In this book Molly is taking off a week to plan her wedding in Vermont with her best friend Kitty.
While there she gets involved with another bride Lindsey and her mother Violet's story about her ex-husband Alec Portman was in town too as a wedding photographer..

Molly's has to ask questions to find out more about him.  Molly meets a lot of people who do not like him.  He uses women and then drops him.  One person is convinced he is a jewel thief.

Then Alec is murdered and Lindsey is questioned because she found the body. Violet a fan of Molly asks her to help the police find the real murder.  While she is planning her wedding.

Lots of crime, drama, humor as Molly searches for the murder, jewel thief and wants to find out the history of her wedding dress.  It is also a clean read.  I had no idea who the murder was and what was the motive for it.

The setting is in Vermont.  Where Molly might end up living after the wedding.

I did not want to put the book down till I was finished reading.
I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Beyond the Page Publishing In return I agreed to give a honest review of A Treacherous Trader.
