Review:A Little Cowgirl Needs a Mom by Patricia Thayer

4 Stars
Gracie is a cute 8year old little girl.  She sees a sign in the quilt shop about quilting classes starting soon. Gracie had promised her mom that she would finsh the quilt they were working on.  Her mom died around 2 years ago. She lives with her dad, grandpa and uncle out on the ranch.
Jenny is now the manager of the quilt store and lives above it in apartment. Jenny sees that Gracie is reaching out for help and she wants to be their for her. Because no one was there for her growing up.
So Jenny starts a different class for young girls and asks others to come and teach them the skills.  First she has to get Gracie dad to let her come to the quilting class once a week.
Evan was not ready to let Gracie go anywhere.  He wanted to protect her always.  Evan just wanted to be left alone but no one would let him. With Jenny's help he started to connect better with Gracie and understand her better.
It was fun to see them grow closer together. Gracie got closer to other girls at school.  In fact everyone was blooming.  I was given this ebook to read in exchange for honest reviews from Netgalley/
