The Enchantress of Lynniah by A.L. Bawden $25 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash Giveaway & review

The Enchantress of Lynniah

Have you ever come across a vain, impetuous little creature called a Mandie, and had to quickly dodge one of her poisonous darts? Or, have you ever imagined having to sing to a fruit to get it to peel open? Perhaps you’ve bumped into freakishly large, blue men, called Dreads? Well, with all of that, along with evil Nymphs and blood thirsty Banelorgs – these are things you’ve only likely experienced if you’ve had a nice long visit to Lynniah.

Corrah’s life suddenly and drastically changes with the unexpected and inexplicable death of her loving mother, Lillian. She and her two sisters, Gaela and Stormy, are suddenly thrust into the unknown and sent to live with their mysterious Aunt Rainee, who lives in the seemingly bewitched village, called Lynniah. Living in a house that their mother’s family had occupied for hundreds of years, they find clues that begin to unlock the startling reality that they are all part of an important magical heritage. A heritage that has been kept secret to save them from a dark and powerful enemy. Corrah has to find a way to battle and balance the onslaughts of loss, young love, and learn to uncover the personal power she has hidden inside her to overcome overwhelming adversity.

My Review:The Enchantress of Lynniah

4 STARS

This is full of magic, invisible man, full of fantasy creatures some good, some bad and a battle of good and evil. The sisters having lost their mother travel to stay with their Aunt Rainee in Lynniah.

They find out that a lot has been hidden from them to keep them safe. The village is bewitched. The butterflies talk to them,
Their is even a fruit that you have to sing for it to open for you to eat. The three sisters are close to each other.

It is full of wonder, danger, drama, romance. It weaves together a story that you don't want to put down. Someone is now after them and as they try to solve some problems they learn they are more than they have been told. They have powers.

The characters are rich and have good points and some bad. You want them to rescue their sister and discover their powers.
They travel on horse back to find their sister and rescue her.

Corrah is the oldest sister. She is the first to notice changes.
Stormy learns to talk to animals. She is taken.
Gaela likes guys.
Corrah is rescued from trouble but nobody knows who saved her and where she was for a couple of days.
Aidan, Turan and their mother are guardians and tasked to watch over the three sisters while their Aunt Rainee leaves to take care of an emergency.

It is a battle of light over darkness and it all starts with simple steps that we choose what side we want to belong to. It is a clean read.

I want to read the next book in the series. Journey into Shadows.

I was given this ebook for the purpose of giving honest review and being part of its virtual blog tour.
